We hosted around 75 people to watch Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and everyone who attended had a great time. In addition to donations and ticket sales, the kids held a concession to raise funds for a new skateboard park in Didsbury.<br /><br />Everyone worked very hard for this event ... which resulted in raising over $900. We are hosting a Community Movie Night and have presold a bunch of tickets already, and people have been phoning like crazy for more details. We are very interested in improving our existing skateboard park ... and eventually having a new indoor park in the future.<br /><br />We are so happy to be a part of the Let Them Be Kids project and are super excited for our upcoming event. We are holding a Community Movie Night on February 27, 2009. Didsbury doesn't have a movie theatre, so we think this is an awesome event that the whole community will want to take part in. In addition to the movie, we will be holding a concession where people can buy slices of pizza, popcorn and drinks. We are also having a raffle for the "Best Seats in the House."
